Seabulk Towing, a SEACOR Holdings Inc. company, is recognized by the towing industry as an established leader in harbor ship assist operations and offshore towing services. Founded on the basic principles of safety and service excellence, Seabulk Towing assists deep sea and coastal vessels during port calls, providing services along the Gulf Coast and Southeastern seaboard port system from Port Arthur, Texas to Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Seabulk Towing takes pride in its modern equipment and history of innovation in tugboat design and propulsion. Twenty years ago, Seabulk Towing introduced the first true escort tug in the southeastern U.S., the ASD Tractor Tug Broward, in Port Everglades, Florida. Two years later, Seabulk Towing introduced the revolutionary Ship Docking Module (SDM™), designed to safely maneuver and dock large tank and container vessels in tight quarters and environmentally sensitive waterways.

In 2017, Seabulk Towing introduced Rotortug technology for the first time to the U.S. market in Port Everglades. The Trident and her sister vessels Trinity and Triton each have three strategically positioned azimuth propulsion units which offer full redundancy and maximum maneuverability while dividing the installed power among a trio of smaller units that combine for a guaranteed bollard pull of 80 tons for handling today’s large ships safely and efficiently.
